ICV D-47 is low-foaming quick fermenting wine yeast from the Cotes-du-Rhone Region that settles well, forming a compact lees at the end of fermentation. Sufficient for 6 gallons of juice. Recommended for Whites and Roses. Also excellent choice for Meads. Low foaming and settles firmly. Enhances mouth feel due to complex carbohydrates. Imparts a slightly minty aroma. This strain tolerates fermentation temperatures ranging from 50 deg F to 86 deg F and enhances mouthfeel due to complex carbohydrates
