The Zambelli ATON OLIO Hydraulic Press for Olive Oil provides maximum extraction and quality for the small to medium olive oil producer, utilizing layers of woven pressing ("dripping") diaphragms stacked between intermittent stainless-steel pressing plates. Milled olive paste is spread over of the diaphragms which are then layered on top of each other in stacks of five. Stainless steel plates are then placed between each stack to ensure that uniform pressure is being applied from top to bottom. The extracted oil flows down through the internal cavity, collecting in the basin, and drains from the bottom port.
The press is supplied with a motorized hydraulic pump and pressure gauge. The pressing plate and basin are made of AISI 304 stainless-steel. The frame is constructed of enamel-coated cold-rolled steel. The woven diaphragms and discs are held in place by a central, perforated, drainpipe.
