They use centrifuges specifically horizontal decanters to continuously separate oil from solid waste and water, offering higher hygienic standards, efficiency, and consistent oil quality.  Our Compact Olive Oil Mills aka Boutique Olive Oil Mills range in size from 30kg per hour to 300kg per hour.  Over 300kg per hour are larger format systems and processing lines that have a larger footprint.

What is the difference between a Continuous and a Non-Continuous Olive Oil Mill?

Continuous olive oil mills use modern centrifugation for high-efficiency, automated, and continuous production of high-quality oil with minimal oxidation. Non-continuous (traditional/batch) mills use presses and mats which are more labor intensive, but is a significantly more affordable way to begin an an operation for producing olive oil.
